AUSPACK will return to the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre from 26 to 29 March 2019 and the show floor is filling up fast.
Owned and presented by the Australian Packaging and Processing Machinery Association (APPMA), this biennial show gives exhibitors a platform to unveil their innovations to key players in the Australasian manufacturing sector.
The show is heading into its 34th year and according to show organiser Exhibitions & Trade Fairs (ETF), AUSPACK has continued to grow with every successive edition, which ETF says is unprecedented for trade shows of this kind.
The show attracts the industry’s key players and provides a showcase of leading-edge packaging and processing technologies all under one roof.
“With six months to go, the show is set to be bigger and better than ever with 89% of exhibition space already sold,” says Anne-Marie Mina, marketing manager, ETF.
More than 350 exhibitors, including Australian OEMs, distributors and international principles, are expected to come together to display solutions for the food, beverage, pharmaceutical and personal care sectors.
The exhibition will provide a showcase of global trends in packaging and processing, including the rise of digital printing for packaging customisation and personalisation, e-commerce packaging, track and trace solutions for authentication, Industry 4.0 and IIoT for smart factory applications, and robotics and cobotics for advanced automation.
A strong focus for many exhibitors will be to present innovation designed to provide solutions for hot button issues like sustainability, food waste, food safety and energy saving.
ETF says that next years show will deliver a number of exciting new features designed to enhance both learning and networking opportunities for all attendees.
