“Melinda is bringing a strong strategic mind to the business and has some exciting ideas about how we can bake the future from flour across ANZ.”

Taylor’s responsibilities will extend across marketing, brand, product, ingredients and innovation, particularly in driving Allied Pinnacle and Champion’s consumer led approach in the market.

The companies boast a strong portfolio of brands that include the recently launched high fibre wheat brand – Wise Wheat. Developed by the CSIRO and farmed in Australia, Wise Wheat is a new, naturally grown wheat that produces flour with six times the fibre of standard wheat flour. Allied Pinnacle will be launching the product nationally from late 2024.

Taylor said that she was thrilled to join Allied Pinnacle and Champion.

“A shared desire to enhance customer experience and deliver outstanding business results, through amplifying best in-class portfolio and high quality brands, crafting multi-channel marketing strategies and developing future-fit talent drew me to this role. I’m looking forward to working with the team to accelerate growth and continue to take market share,” she said.
