Belvoir Fruit Farms has released a range of drinks based on popular wines – but minus the hangover.

The UK-based non-alcoholic beverages producer has named the range 'Without the Hangover' and has based it on popular wine varietals of Shiraz, Chardonnay and Rosé.

It blends the grape juices with other fruit juices, herbs and spices to emulate the texture and sensation of drinking wine, but without the alcohol.

Unlike de-alcoholised wine, Belvoir's range is not fermented and therefore doesn't need to go through the de-alcoholising stage, which, the producer argues, strips out much of the flavour of the wine.

The range is imported into Australia by Thirst for Life.

MD Anthony Notaras believes the the non-drinker market has huge potential in Australia.

“With huge numbers of immigrants and visitors from Asia and the middle East that don't drink, it's a huge opportunity," he says.

RRP is $12.95 per 750ml bottle.

The ACCC has instituted court proceedings against Clorox Australia, owner of GLAD-branded kitchen and garbage bags, over alleged false claims that bags were partly made of recycled 'ocean plastic'.
