PepsiCo snack brand, Twisties, is back with a new and unexpected flavour combining two Australian snack icons – Twisties Zooper Dooper Fairy Floss.

Partnering with the team at Zooper Dooper, Twisties has developed a limited-edition flavour bursting with nostalgia, the first since the launch of Sweet n' Sour last July.

PepsiCo brand manager, Simon Odisho, said Twisties Zooper Dooper Fairy Floss is a flavour that is reminiscent of Australian childhoods in the most unexpected way possible.

“We love to surprise our fans with flavours that are as bold as they are surprising, and what better way to launch a flavour this exciting than with a little fun of our own?” said Odisho.

Twisties Zooper Dooper Fairy Floss combines the sweet flavour of Zooper Dooper’s Fairy Floss with the iconic Twisties crunch. The development team describes it as a taste explosion that’s weird, wonderful, and only available for a limited time.

Zooper Dooper brand manager, Georgia Fink, said the flavour is pure fun – bold, unexpected and unmistakably Australian.

“Teaming up with Twisties has created something truly unique that we know will transport our fans straight back to their childhood with just one bite,” said Fink.

Twisties Zooper Dooper Fairy Floss is available exclusively at IGA, with a nationwide rollout from 30 July.

Packaging News

The World Packaging Organisation has named 234 winners for the WorldStar Packaging Awards 2026, which were selected from 481 entries submitted across 36 countries.

ACOR is calling on the Government to urgently introduce packaging reforms or risk the collapse of Australia’s plastic recycling sector and face millions of tonnes of plastic waste polluting the environment.

As 2025 draws to a close, it is clear the packaging sector has undergone one of its most consequential years in over a decade. Consolidation at the top, restructuring in the middle, and bold innovation at the edges have reshaped the industry’s horizons. At the same time, regulators, brand owners and recyclers have inched closer to a new circular operating model, even as policy clarity remains elusive.
