Lion has launched the latest limited edition flavour for hard seltzer White Claw, with the Pineapple flavour arriving in bottleshops for summer.

Brand director Ed Jamison said previous White Claw limited edition flavour drops had been well received, and expects a similar response to the Pineapple release.

“We are in our third year in-market and the last two years have seen success for the brand, with over 27 million cans of White Claw sold since launch.”

“We wanted to continue momentum over summer with a limited edition drop of Pineapple. Tropical flavours are trending at the moment and 56 per cent of RTD drinkers say that new flavour releases are the most important factor in keeping them interested,” said Jamison.

White Claw says it has established itself as a mindful choice amongst RTD drinkers; delivering to current consumer needs and those seeking brands that fit with their lifestyle; integrating their social activities with a healthier life.

The Pineapple flavour will join the existing range of Mango, Watermelon, Natural Lime and Ruby Grapefruit.

White Claw Pineapple is available at bottle stores for RRP $24 for a four pack.

Consolidation at the top, restructuring in the middle, and bold innovation at the edges have reshaped the industry’s horizons. At the same time, regulators, brand owners and recyclers have inched closer to a new circular operating model, even as policy clarity remains elusive.
