Melbourne-based premium Italian liqueur brand, Tommy's Booze, is dipping its toes into the ready-to-drink sector, with the launch of canned spritzes featuring its three spirits – Limoncello, Mandarino, and Lampone.

Inspired by memories of his Nonna, Tom Giurioli began making limoncello during lockdown, which eventually led to the creation of Tommy’s Booze, along with co-founder Dan Leuzzi.

“There’s something special about peeling the fruit by hand; it’s therapeutic and takes me straight back to Italy, sitting with my Nonna,” said Giuriol.

“I still peel all the fruit myself, and I plan to keep it that way for as long as I can. We spent months perfecting the flavours, experimenting until we landed on three that everyone loves.”

Now the liqueur range is stocked in restaurants and liquor stores across the country, with three flavours in the bottle:

  • Limoncello (Original) – True to Nonna’s recipe, the classic is zesty, crisp, and balanced between sweet and sour.
  • Mandarino (Mandarin) – A fresh and unique take on citrus liqueur, offering candied orange notes with a twist.
  • Lampone (Raspberry) – A crowd-favourite, featuring tangy, berry-rich sweetness.

Tommy’s Booze remains committed to hands-on production methods, with Giurioli still personally peeling every lemon. The brand now sources ‘ugly lemons’ from Victoria and Queensland, odd shaped fruit that would otherwise go to waste.

“Australians have been drinking limoncello all wrong. It’s often left forgotten in a cupboard when it should be stored in the freezer, served ice-cold in a chilled glass,” said Leuzzi.

“But beyond that, the possibilities are endless whether in a spritz, a cocktail, or even as a base for desserts.”

Tommy’s Booze new RTD’s are available exclusively online at tommysbooze.com.au, for RRP $24.00 in a four-pack, or $119.00 in a 24-pack.
