New Zealand snack bar company Tasti has launched its first soft apple-based Fruit Bar, as the company continues to expand its footprint in the snacks category.

Available in Strawberry, Banana and Pineapple flavours, the bars are made with a soft apple base, real fruit pieces, and a thin layer of chocolate.

Tasti senior brand manager Lisa Parslow said the bar has no artificial colouring, preservatives and nuts.

“The snack bar is filled with fibre and made with real fruit making them a seriously fruit snacking option,”said Parslow.

With the company exploring the use of plant-based products, probiotics and superfood ingredients, Tasti said its commitment towards innovation was the driving force behind its position as the market leader in the New Zealand wrapped snacks category.

Tasti managing director Josette Prince said the company is proud to be at the forefront of snacking and is experiencing great progress.

“We pride ourselves on innovation and the new Tasti Fruit Bar delivers a unique option the whole family can enjoy,” said Prince.

The company is currently Australia’s number one wholefood brand.
