Streets Ice Cream has re-released two Paddle Pop flavours from the past in time for summer.

Unilever, which owns the Streets brand, is taking consumers back to 2002 with the re-release of Bionic Bubble Gum following the return of Caramel Choc Dip earlier this year.

Marketing manager Scott Mingl said the decision was made in response to huge demand. There were also a large number of requests for a re-release of the classic Vanilla Paddle Pop (pictured), which has also been launched for a limited time in Woolworths only.

Bionic Bubble Gum is now sold in Woolworths, Coles and most convenience stores. RRP is $1.50 for a single serve, and $6.99 for the multi-pack.

The Australian Manufacturing Workers Union's (AMWU) is currently calling on the public to boycott the Streets ice cream brand over proposed enterprise agreement changes at the Streets facility in Minto NSW.

Packaging News

As 2025 draws to a close, it is clear the packaging sector has undergone one of its most consequential years in over a decade. Consolidation at the top, restructuring in the middle, and bold innovation at the edges have reshaped the industry’s horizons. At the same time, regulators, brand owners and recyclers have inched closer to a new circular operating model, even as policy clarity remains elusive.

Pact has reported a decline in revenue and earnings for the first five months of FY26, citing subdued market demand, as chair Raphael Geminder pursues settlement of the long-running TIC earn-out dispute.
