The Coles bakery aisle is getting an exciting new snack addition – Springhill Farm’s Chupa Chups Slice Balls. The creative treats are available in Choco Banana Inspired and Strawberry & Cream Inspired, two of Chupa Chups best selling flavours.

In a deal brokered by brand engagement agency, Asembl, Springhill Farm’s Slice bars and Chupa Chups flavours have fused into a plant based, bite-sized treat.

Locally crafted at Springhill Farm’s Ballarat warehouse, each slice ball features a signature Slice wrapped around a soft Choco Banana or Strawberry & Cream centre, coated in chocolate and finished with a sprinkle of crunchy shards.

Springhill Farm general manager and second-generation snack maker, Fiona Whatley, said the company was excited to collaborate with Chupa Chups, a brand that has been bringing fun to consumers for decades.

“This partnership is a celebration of flavour and creativity, unlike anything we have done before,” said Whatley.

“It’s such a proud moment seeing a product we have spent 40 years perfecting and loving, blended into a creation with such a global brand. We can’t wait for our customers to experience these unique snacks”.

The limited-edition slice balls will be available in Coles stores nationwide from mid-February, for RRP $6.00 in a pack of four.

Packaging News

The merger between packaging giants Amcor and Berry is now complete, with the all-scrip deal creating a company with some 400 packaging plants, and 75,000 staff, located in 140 countries.

Pact Group is facing softening demand in Q4, citing Donald Trump’s tariffs, the ongoing domestic cost of living pressures, and supply chain disruption with shipping container supply tightening.

Raphael Geminder is following through on his stated intention to delist Pact Group in light of his failed takeover of the company, and has set 16 July as the date he wants it off the ASX.
