San Remo Macaroni’s newest brand, The Big Cheese has released its Aussie-made instant XL Mac & Cheese bowl product into convenience aisles nationwide.

The Big Cheese combines Aussie-grown 100 per cent durum wheat pasta with two cheesy sachets made with real parmesan and cheddar powders.

Ready in three minutes, San Remo says The Big Cheese XL Mac & Cheese Bowl delivers on value, taste and convenience.

San Remo Macaroni Company chief marketing officer James Askham-Levy said there was a hunger for Aussie made comfort food among shoppers.

The instant Mac and Cheese segment is worth over $30m nationally, and sales grew by more than 10 per cent compared to this time last year.

“What makes The Big Cheese stand out, besides its size and presence on-shelf, is its taste, texture and Australian-made ingredients,” said Askham-Levy.

The Big Cheese XL Mac & Cheese Bowl retails at $3.00 and is available in Woolworths, Coles and independent grocers.
