Iconic ice cream brands Peters and Gelato Messina have partnered up to redefine a classic Australian treat into ice cream form, the Messina Lamington Gelato Bar. 

The chocolate gelato rich bar with raspberry sauce for its base has desiccated coconut pieces and is coated with a milk chocolate layer. 

Peters head of marketing Andrea Hamori said: “We know how much Aussies loved the last collaboration we did with Gelato Messina, so we’ve reimagined a classic Aussie dessert, just in time for summer, which we know Aussies are going to love.” 

Messina co-owner and head chef Dontato Toce added that the company enjoys pushing boundaries with flavours and the new gelato is no different. 

The Messina Lamington Gelato Bar is available at Woolworths and Coles for RRP $10.00 per four pack.
