PepsiCo has added a new vanilla flavour to its Pepsi Max beverage range.

Pepsi Max Vanilla blends the taste of the no-sugar Pepsi Max with vanilla while maintaining its ‘no sugar’ status.

The new variant joins past flavours such as Pepsi Max Lime, launched last year.

Brad Van Dijk, PepsiCo senior director ANZ Beverages, believed Pepsi Max Vanilla would challenge traditional perceptions of vanilla and attract new fans.

“Vanilla is one of the world’s most loved and commonly used flavours, so we’ve ingeniously 'maxed' this, bringing consumers a new burst of smooth vanilla flavour," he said.

Awareness of the new product will be driven through TVC, digital, out of home, in-store, social and consumer activations, starting this month.

Pepsi Max Vanilla is now sold through independent and major retailers in Australia.
