Australia’s Oyster Coast (AOC), the country’s largest producer of food grade Rock Oysters, has launched a new consumer brand, Oystersmiths. It aims to strengthen the company’s position in the food service industry through its range of sustainably sourced oysters.

Oysters are naturally rich in vitamins and minerals, including zinc, iron, and omega-3 fatty acids. They are a source of lean protein and have a low environmental impact compared to other forms of animal farming. This makes oysters an ideal choice for those seeking a healthy, sustainable diet.

As part of a rapidly growing industry, AOC’s vertical integration model has enabled the company to experience sustained growth while remaining committed to sustainable food production. The company currently supplies live or half shell Rock, Pacific or Angasi oysters for wholesale through product brands Appellation Oysters and Australia's Oyster Coast.
