Speciality coffee roaster Seven Miles has brewed an on-the-go energy booster with the launch of its Nitro Black Coffee and Black Coffee in ready-to-drink (RTD) cold brew cans.

Infused with nitrogen and brewed with cold-filtered water, the Nitro Black Coffee has a smooth texture while the Black Coffee has a refreshing strawberry, mint, and brown sugar flavour profile.

Seven Miles CEO Jenny Willits said the company has been looking to develop RTD format drinks for years.

“People want something that’s easy and convenient, something that they can pop in their bag or esky and enjoy at any time of the day when they feel like a pick me up,” said Willits.

Operating in Sydney, Canberra, Brisbane, Orange and Wollongong, Seven Miles is one of the leading coffee producers in Australia with brands including Wilde, Cultivar, The Cat’s Pyjamas, and Gusto.

Seven Miles Nitro Black Coffee and Black Coffee are available online on its website for RRP $19.00 per four pack.

Packaging News

The World Packaging Organisation has named 234 winners for the WorldStar Packaging Awards 2026, which were selected from 481 entries submitted across 36 countries.

ACOR is calling on the Government to urgently introduce packaging reforms or risk the collapse of Australia’s plastic recycling sector and face millions of tonnes of plastic waste polluting the environment.

As 2025 draws to a close, it is clear the packaging sector has undergone one of its most consequential years in over a decade. Consolidation at the top, restructuring in the middle, and bold innovation at the edges have reshaped the industry’s horizons. At the same time, regulators, brand owners and recyclers have inched closer to a new circular operating model, even as policy clarity remains elusive.
