Health-based ready meal company My Muscle Chef is adding to its On-The-Go range with the launch of Protein Muffins, two new Protein Shake flavours and six ready-made meals.

Made as a healthier alternative and a guilt free option, the Protein Muffins contain 48 per cent less sugar than standard muffins and 16 grams of protein per serve.

Available in Banana & Walnut, Raspberry & White Choc and Double Choc flavours, the range is free of artificial flavours and includes four grams of gut-friendly prebiotic fibre.

My Muscle Chef brand manager Rhiannon Purrer said the new range provides a convenient option for the company’s health-conscious customer base.

“Whether consumers are desiring a better-for-you snack option or a protein-packed treat, these high protein and prebiotic muffins will meet their expectations and more,” said Purrer.

My Muscle Chef advanced sports dietician Ryan Pinto added that the muffin range contains three times more protein than traditional baked goods and is a healthier option to satisfy sweet cravings.

The ready-meal company has also added Mango & Coconut and Strawberry to its Protein Shake range, along with six meals to expand on its existing options.

The new meal range includes Vegan Pesto Pasta with Vegetables & Sundried Tomatoes; Chicken Fried Rice with Vegetables; Thai Beef Power Bowl; Teriyaki Chicken with Brown Rice & Vegetables; Jamaican Jerk Chicken with Basmati Rice, Black Beans & Pineapple Salsa; and Soy Beef with Sweet Potato Noodles & Vegetables.

My Muscle Chef Protein Muffins, Protein Shakes and Meals are available in selected retail stores for RRP $3.50, $4.95 and $9.95 each respectively.
