New Zealand snack brand, Proper Crisps, has launched its latest and spiciest product – with the release of the Chilli Crisp.

Inspired by the international craze for chilli oil, Proper Crisps’ Chilli Crisp aims to deliver a fiery flavour explosion that evokes the mouth-tingling taste of consumers’ favourite chilli oil, straight from the kitchen pantry or a local café.

Chilli Crisp features a bold blend of Sichuan peppers and chilli flakes ground in-house, with a sprinkle of chilli powder for an extra kick. The product aims to deliver a savoury, mouth-watering experience that will keep snackers coming back for more.

The new Chilli Crisp is gluten-free, dairy-free, and free from additives and preservatives, in keeping with its extended range.

Proper Crisps senior brand manager, Hayley Lewis, said the new flavour will ignite the senses, with a crisp that’s daring and addictively delicious.

“At Proper Crisps, we’re not serving up a cute little sweet chilli. We are all about Proper Crisps, Proper Heat,” said Lewis.
