To celebrate the global 60th anniversary of Nutella, Ferrero has released a limited-edition 60th anniversary jar celebrating “60 years of smiles”.

To mark the occasion, Italy’s ambassador to Australia and the Italian consul general visited Ferrero’s Lithgow factory, which has produced Nutella since 1978.

The factory was the first Ferrero production site to be established outside of Europe, and produces Nutella for Australia, New Zealand and East Asia, with around 13.5 million kilograms of Nutella produced each year.

The 60th anniversary limited edition jar is available nation-wide.
