A new premium vodka has launched in the Australian market. Savage Rabbit was founded by Australians and produced in the Tatra Mountains of Slovakia.

Co-founder, Ian Head, said the vodka blended age-old Eastern European vodka-making traditions with a “bold, modern edge” to cut through the noise of today’s spirits scene. Produced using winter wheat and rye, the vodka is cooled to -3C before undergoing a triple-filtration process through charcoal, silver and platinum. Head said the result is a “notably smooth and refined mouthfeel”, that offers purity and depth.

“Savage Rabbit is more than a premium vodka, it’s a new expression of the category. While purity and smoothness are at the core of our product, we’ve infused the brand with a playful, social edge that reflects how today’s consumers connect with spirits.

“We’re proud to bring a vodka to market that’s crafted with care, steeped in provenance, and positioned to stand out both in the glass and on the shelf,” Head said.

Its tasting notes say that on the nose, Savage Rabbit reveals notes of grapefruit and pecan while the palate delivers a balance of crisp apple and juicy melon, layered with almond and a hint of white pepper. The finish is a silky butteriness, giving way to an elegant, clean finish that lingers just long enough to tempt another sip.

It has been developed with versatility in mind, crafted for both cocktails and to serve neat.

Its visual identity, including the distinctive rabbit mask motif, is designed to be recognisable, memorable, and well-suited to lifestyle-driven retail and hospitality environments.

Savage Rabbit is available now via savagerabbit.com.au at an RRP of $69. Distribution enquiries are welcome at ian@savagerabbit.com.au.
