Smith’s is popping into a new format this Valentine’s Day, with the launch of its light, bite-sized potato snack, Smith’s Poppables.

The new range will feature two flavours – Sweet Chilli & Sour Cream and Cheddar Cheese – and provide “a different eating experience to regular potato chips” due to its light and airy feel.

“Smith’s Poppables are great for sharing with family or friends and will add a bit of playfulness and fun to any snacking occasion,” said Smith’s marketing manager Lynn Rutherford.

“It’s no coincidence that we are launching them around Valentine’s Day as we believe one Pop and you’re in love.”

Smith’s Poppables are now available in Coles and will launch in Woolworths, independent supermarket and petrol and convenience stores later in the month.

Both flavours are available in 90g for RRP $3.49, and Sweet Chilli & Sour Cream in a 35g pack.
