The Arnott’s Group's new range of Campbell’s Soups tap into the wellness market as well as seasonal appeal. The Real Soup range offer functional health benefits in four varieties.

Each of the four flavours offer a different health benefit:

  • Pumpkin with Turmeric provides a source of Vitamin A to help support immunity
  • Tomato & Basil with Lentils contains good carbohydrates for energy
  • Green Pea with Spinach provides 11 grams of protein per serve from peas and faba bean to help support muscle strength
  • Sweet Potato & Carrot with Coconut contains a natural source of fibre to help support digestive wellbeing

Senior brand manager Marco Maiese said the team selected a variety of nutritious veggies, legumes, herbs & spices to ensure these plant-based soups deliver on both taste and wellness.

“What we’ve managed to create is a great tasting range of wellness soups that can be consumed in all settings, either hot or cold. They really have the potential to shake up the category and will be noticed by our consumers on shelf for their unique packaging and emphasis on health attributes,” Maiese said.

Arnott’s Group nutritionist Alison Baldwin said the range was a new proposition for consumers looking to increase their vegetable intake and those seeking a particular wellness outcome.

“By targeting specific ingredients, we were able to create products that taste great and are also beneficial to our health. All of the products in the new range have four or more health stars, making them a great source of natural wellness.”

The products will be on shelves across Australian retailers in the coming weeks.
