From the team at Moon Dog that brought you the hard seltzer brand Fizzer, their latest offering is Razzler Alcoholic Disco Nectar. It is Moon Dog’s booziest (6% ABV) and juiciest ready-to-drink (RTD) release, minus high levels of sugar, calories, and carbs.

Moon Dog co-founder Josh Uljans said traditional RTDs are most often sickly sweet, high in sugar, and give you “that fuzzy teeth feeling” after drinking a couple.

“We thought Fizzer Seltzer might double our business in three years, and it did it in just 12 months. We reckon Razzler will do the exact same,” Uljans said.

Since Moon Dog’s inception in 2010, they have been known for their juicy, bold flavours. Three-time Australian Cocktail Bartender of the Year, Chris Hysted Adams, has developed five fruity flavours: Passion Fruit, Orange Mango, Lemon Lime, Watermelon, and Apple Blackcurrant.

Razzler cans have 1.6 standard drinks and a 6% ABV. Each can has less than 1g of sugar, low calories, all natural fruit flavours and are vegan friendly. These cans contain at least 30% less sugar, calories and carbs than a regular RTD.

Orange Mango and Passion Fruit RAZZLER will be up for purchase as 4-packs, and all five flavours will be available in a Mixed 10-pack at independent bottle shops and online.

Packaging News

While UN negotiations to deliver a legally binding plastics treaty have ended in deadlock, Australia remains aligned with the High Ambition Coalition and is progressing domestic efforts on plastics recycling infrastructure and circular economy policy – though decisive action on packaging reform remains stalled.

In line with growth in demand for pressure sensitive labels in SE Asia, UPM Adhesive Materials is expanding its label material factory in Malaysia, adding a new coating line alongside other facility upgrades.

The Australasian Institute of Packaging has become an executive member of the Asian Packaging Federation, as the institute continues to expand its provision of education and training in the region.
