JDE Peet’s-owned coffee brand, Moccona, is making a splash in the market, with the introduction of its new Liquid Espresso Coffee Sachets in Medium Roast, Dark Roast and Caramel.

Consumer preferences are increasingly shifting toward personalised, portable, and time-saving formats. Moccona aims to respond to evolving coffee habits and unlock new growth opportunities by tapping into unmet consumer needs in the liquid concentrate space – a format currently representing 0.4 per cent of total coffee share but showing strong potential for expansion.

The company stated the single serve coffee concentrate product is a retail first to the Australian market, and comes in an 8-pack format to support consumers to enjoy barista-style flavour in under 30 seconds, with no equipment or preparation required.

Made from 100 per cent arabica coffee beans, Moccona Liquid Espresso delivers a smooth, full-bodied taste in every cup. Simply rip the sachet and empty the contents into a cup or glass, pour 150ml of water or milk of your choice (hot or cold), add ice if drinking chilled, and stir.

According to Moccona’s commissioned research, 76 per cent of respondents indicated they would incorporate the product into their existing coffee routine.

Moccona Australia marketing director, Virginia Marsh, said consumers want great coffee without the hassle, and that’s exactly what Moccona Liquid Espresso delivers.

“It’s convenient, versatile, and premium in taste, with a format designed for how people live and drink today,” said Marsh.

“Not only is Liquid Espresso convenient, but it also unlocks a new standard in everyday coffee. Where quality, speed and customisation can all co-exist.”

Moccona Liquid Espresso is now available at all major retailers nationwide for RRP $8.60.
