Artillery Distillery have released Coffee Rum Liqueur, an offshoot of their previously released barrel aged 8-year-old rum.

The newest rum expression from the brand stays true to its tagline of “Spirit of the Caribbean. Soul of Melbourne,” as the distillers at Artillery have blended the rum, partly aged in the West Indies, along with Melbourne-roasted coffee beans.

The result is a striking liqueur, complimented by a nutty palate, with vanilla, honey and dark chocolate notes.

Artillery Distillery describes it as an artisanal Kahlua, with final maturation completed locally in small Oloroso Sherry casks.

Artillery Distillery’s Coffee Rum Liqueur can be chilled and sipped neat or added to cocktails and is available to be purchased online via The Craft & Co.
