McCain Foods has released a new chocolate dessert range by Sara Lee.

The Incredibly Chocolate Chunky Bavarian includes elements of triple choc chunk, white choc chunk, and raspberry on top of a chocolate biscuit base.

Sara Lee Australia senior product manager of desserts, Laura Gomez-Gracia, says there has been a growing consumer demand for desserts that are a step up from the norm.

"Australians are looking for an indulgent point of difference when purchasing a dessert, hosting a dinner party or special occasion," she says.

“Sara Lee is a leader in the frozen dessert category and we pride ourselves on convenience that doesn’t compromise taste."

The new dessert is sold in Woolworths, Metcash and Coles stores nationally. RRP is $6.99 for the 530g pack.
