McCain is making pizza into a quick, convenient snack food, launching its latest Pizza Pockets range across Australian universities in time for O-Week.

Pizza Pockets have a range of two flavours – Hawaiian, with a traditional crust filled with mozzarella cheese, ham and pineapple, and Super Supreme, filled with mozzarella cheese, ham, capsicum and mushroom.

“Many young Australians would view McCain Pizza Pockets with some nostalgia as a tuckshop staple from their time in primary school,” said McCain Foods ANZ pizza brand manager Alice Briant.

“We’re excited to be bringing these new flavours to those who live a busy, on-the-go lifestyle and want to enjoy their favourite pizza flavours with ease.”

McCain is celebrating the launch with its #pocketlikeitshot activations, with games of Pocket Pong, at the University of Sydney, Macquarie University, La Trobe University and University of Melbourne this month.

The Pizza Pockets range is also now available four-packs in the frozen pizza aisle at Woolworths for RRP $7.50.
