Peters Maxibon has launched two new flavours to beat the heat as summer draws to a close, inspired by the nostalgia of bakery classics, the Hedgehog Slice and Vanilla Slice.

Peters Ice Cream head of marketing, Andrea Hamori, said Australia is a nation of snackers, and nothing hits quite like childhood favourites.

“As a brand that’s been shaking up Aussie snack time for over 20 years, Maxibon wanted to take nostalgia and turn it on its head,” said Hamori.

“We’ve reimagined iconic, beloved baked goods by bringing them to life with Australia’s favourite ice cream sandwich brand – Maxibon – because doing the unexpected is what we do best.”

  • Hedgehog Slice – A choc slab packed with salty sweet cookie pieces, sandwiched between two golden biscuits on one end and dipped in choc with loads more cookie pieces on the other. Baked by Maxi-Bakery.
  • Vanilla Slice – A custard flavoured slab sandwiched between two golden biscuits on one end and dipped in icing with loads of wafer flakes on the other. Baked by Maxi-Bakery.

Maxibon Hedgehog Slice and Vanilla Slice are now available in Coles, Woolworths, and independent grocery stores in a four-pack for RRP $11.50, and in single packs for RRP $5.60.
