Swiss chocolatier and confectionery company, Lindt, has released its first new Gold Bunny flavour for Australia since 2015, just in time for Easter – Salted Caramel.

For over 70 years, Lindt stated the Gold Bunny has been a beloved staple in Australia, from Easter egg hunts to gifting. The new Salted Caramel flavour combines Lindt’s signature milk chocolate with buttery caramel pieces and a touch of sea salt for balanced indulgence.

While this is the first new flavour for the region in a decade, the Gold Bunny portfolio has evolved over the years with different sizes, limited edition foils, and the Gold Bunny Block in 2024, aiming to keep Easter traditions fresh and exciting.

Lindt master chocolatier, Thomas Schnetzler, said salted caramel is one of the company’s most loved flavour combinations, and they are thrilled to introduce it to the Gold Bunny range.

“We’ve carefully crafted this new flavour to celebrate the combination of the luxurious richness of our milk chocolate, the deep complexity of caramel, enhanced by the touch of sea salt. We can’t wait for both new and loyal Lindt fans to experience the new Gold Bunny this Easter.”

The Lindt Gold Bunny Salted Caramel is available nationwide at leading retailers for RRP $10.00, joining a range of flavours including Milk Chocolate, Dark Chocolate, White Chocolate, and Hazelnut.

Packaging News

The merger between packaging giants Amcor and Berry is now complete, with the all-scrip deal creating a company with some 400 packaging plants, and 75,000 staff, located in 140 countries.

Pact Group is facing softening demand in Q4, citing Donald Trump’s tariffs, the ongoing domestic cost of living pressures, and supply chain disruption with shipping container supply tightening.

Raphael Geminder is following through on his stated intention to delist Pact Group in light of his failed takeover of the company, and has set 16 July as the date he wants it off the ASX.
