Tasmanian whisky brand, Lark Distillery, has launched the final expression in its collaboration with Victoria’s, Wolf of the Willows Brewing – Wolf Release VI. Spanning eight years and six limited releases, the company says the Wolf series has become a cult favourite among whisky and craft beer lovers alike.

This sixth and final release is a tribute to eight years of innovation and collaboration. Finished in Wolf’s imperial Johnny Smoke Porter casks, Wolf Release VI is bold and elegant, offering notes of fresh mango, rich cream and silk soft porter smoke, toffee banana and decadent creamy hazelnuts.

What began as a pioneering barrel exchange – Tasmanian whisky casks sent to age porter beer before returning to mature LARK Single Malt – has evolved into a benchmark of creative innovation, collaboration and craftsmanship.

Lark master distiller, Chris Thomson, said Wolf VI is more than just the final release – it’s a celebration of what can happen when two passionate producers commit to experimentation

“This whisky reflects eight years of shared ideas, risk-taking and respect for the craft. We couldn’t be prouder of what we’ve created together,” said Thomson.

To mark the end of the series, the limited release consists of 500 collector sets, each featuring hand-blown, hand-cut and hand-polished crystal glassware by Denver & Liely in Melbourne, etched with two exclusive collaborative designs.

Wolf Release VI and the collector sets are now available online at larkdistillery.com, for RRP $250.00 for the 500ml bottles, and RRP $280.00 for the 500ml Collector Set, including the glass.
