Canberra’s most awarded distillery, Underground Spirits, is launching a new gin flavour for the spring season, inspired by the flowers – the limited edition Lady Floriade Gin.

Lady Floriade Gin is described as a creation as captivating as the spring season itself. Infused with the essence of a Regency-era Garden party, this limited-edition gin teases the senses with hints of pineapple, rose, lavender, and a whisper of English Breakfast tea.

The gin will be featured at Underground Spirits’ Gin Garden at Floriade 2024, the flower festival with a 2024 theme of Art in Bloom. The Underground team will create exclusive cocktails for the event, which can be enjoyed in the floral-adorned Cocktail Domes in the Garden.

Underground Spirits Australia CEO, Claudia Roughley, said guests in the Garden can enjoy traditional Danishes, pastries, and quiches, or opt for a modern twist with the exclusive Floriade Tart, crafted with Lady Floriade Gin by Canberra’s Lepi Artisan Bakery.

“This year’s Underground Spirits Gin Garden at Floriade 2024 promises an immersive experience, featuring a garden party inspired by Bridgerton, with all the touches of high society and romance culminating in the debut of our Lady Floriade Gin amidst the blossoms,” said Roughley.

“The Gin Garden offers a haven where visitors can unwind and savour the timeless flavours of exquisite gin in a truly enchanting setting.”

The distillery will also be serving its Natalie-Anne Caramel Vodka Espresso Martini, which was released in May – a collaboration with celebrity hair artist and content creator, Natalie Anne.

Floriade 2024 runs from 14 September to 13 October, and the Underground Spirits Gin Garden aims to be the destination for those seeking a blend of elegance, intrigue, and delight.

Lady Floriade Gin will also be available by the bottle from undergroundspirits.com.au until the end of the year, for RRP $75.
