Krispy Kreme is taking its Original Glazed doughnut and teaming up with Maltesers to create a limited edition doughnut to mimic the flavour profile of one of Australia’s most popular chocolate brands.

The Maltesers Doughnut is covered in milk chocolate ganache and has the light crunch of Maltesers on top.

The collaboration between Krispy Kreme and Maltesers parent company, Mars, will “celebrate Australia’s love for Maltesers,” said Jann Lurie, Mars senior brand manager, bite size.

“It’s been incredible to see the flavour profile of our delicious Maltesers® being transformed in a new and exciting treat experience,” said Laurie.

The Maltesers Doughnut will be available from today until April 27 at all Krispy Kreme stores and online, as well as 7-Eleven and UberEATS for $3.60 each or $28.95 for a dozen.
