Kraft Heinz is adding variety to the freezer aisle with the addition of its Frozen Vegetarian Snacks range, the company’s first foray into the frozen snacks category.

Ideally served with a dipping sauce the new snack range includes Cauliflower Fries; Broccoli Fries; Crispy Broccoli Florets; Crispy Cauliflower Florets; and Crispy Mixed vegetables. The Broccoli and Cauliflower Fries are potato coated with a seasoned light batter and can be prepared in under 25 minutes with an oven or air fryer.

Kraft Heinz CMO ANZ Shane Kent said there is a trend in consumers seeking vegetarian frozen snacking options.

“With an increasing number of vegetarians, pescatarians and flexitarians in Australia, we’re pleased to be able to tap into this trend and deliver more variety for customers in the frozen category.

“The launch marks an exciting step for Heinz in the frozen category and the first launch into frozen snacking, specifically. We are interested to hear what shoppers think about the range,” said Kent.

Kraft Heinz Frozen Vegetarian Snacks are available nationwide in Woolworths and independent stores.
