Koko Black is championing traditions for the Lunar New Year, releasing a range of themed chocolate treats to kick off 2023.

With 2023 marking the Year of the Rabbit, Lunar Year Festivities involve a 15 day event dedicated to family reunion, marked by a New Year’s Eve dinner where gifts are exchanged to reminisce and conclude the year whilst optimistically welcoming a new one.

The new range showcases flavours such as mandarin and yuzu, matcha, chilli, and mango and passionfruit.

The Koko Black Lunar New Year range includes new praline flavours Matcha, Mango and Chilli, Mandarin and Yuzu, Passion, and Mango and Vanilla.

Lunar Year gift sets available include the 48 Piece Lunar Lantern featuring 17 praline flavours, and an eight piece pack of Lucky Lunar Pralines.

Koko Black head chocolatier, Remco Brigou said he and the team aimed to begin the year using 100 per cent natural ingredients in all of their products.

“Nothing else invites luxury and celebration the same way chocolate does. We are emulating the wondrous tradition of fireworks in the sky at Lunar New Year by creating treats crafted from a range of complex and surprising flavours,” Brigou said.

The Lunar New Year range is available at Koko Black stores nationally or online.
