Australian chocolatier Koko Black and Sydney brewer Modus Operandi have teamed up to create the Choc Hazelnut Belgian Stout.

This is Koko Black’s first chocolate beer and uses the chocolatier’s Nuts to Caramel Collection for inspiration.

The collaboration “celebrates the best of both brands” and has a 6.9 per cent ABV, and follows the rising trend of craft brewers shifting into the production of dessert beers alongside its classic ranges.

The Koko Blaxk x Modus Choc Hazelnut Belgian Stout launched at this week’s 2021 Melbourne Good Beer Week.

It will be availanle in four-packs across independent bottle shops in Victoria from 23 May for RRP $35.00.
