To celebrate its partnership with the McLaren Formula 1 team, Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey has released a limited-edition McLaren Racing bottle in Australia.

The McLaren x Jack Daniel’s bottle will include Jack Daniel’s classic Tennessee Whiskey grain bill of 80 per cent corn, 8 per cent rye, and 12 per cent malted barley, bottled at 80 proof (40 per cent ABV).

There are 2,000 cases available in Australia, with the brand saying a local whiskey expert has predicted each $80.00 700ml bottle could significantly increase in value as a collector’s item in the years to come.

The Whisky List co-founder Oliver Maruda said Australia was the third-largest export market for US Whiskey.

“There has always been serious demand for brands like Jack Daniel's here, especially with limited edition expressions having completely sold out.

"The collaboration between Jack Daniel's and McLaren gives whiskey and F1 fans a great opportunity to pick up a bottle to drink now and another to collect for the future, and given the bottle is a limited-edition offering, it's highly likely it will rise in value in the years to come,” said Maruda.

The McLaren x Jack Daniel’s bottle is available at Dan Murphy’s, Liquorland, First Choice, Boozebud and other independent retailers for an RRP of AUD $80.00.
