Australian boutique coffee maker, Hunt and Brew, has launched its new high-protein milk into Coles supermarkets, containing 6.4g of protein per 100mL – which the company says is the highest amount of any dairy milk currently on the market in Australia.

Sourced from farms in the Margaret River and surrounding South-West region of Western Australia, Hunt And Brew High Protein Milk offers 80 per cent more protein than its regular milk, and has been formulated with a rich, creamy texture for frothing in coffee or tea.

The strategic launch is aiming to catch the attention of a new generation of health-conscious consumers, including younger shoppers and busy professionals, who value quality and convenience.

Hunt and Brew senior brand manager, Jake Calabrese, said the company recognised a distinct opportunity to innovate within the traditional dairy milk category, and developed the high-protein milk to meet growing consumer demand for convenient, clean, and natural ways to boost protein intake.

“This launch is about reinvigorating the dairy milk sector. While plant-based alternatives have surged ahead, innovation in fresh, white milk has remained largely stagnant,” said Calabrese.

“Hunt And Brew is here to do dairy better. By starting with the highest quality milk from Western Australia’s iconic Margaret River region and formulating it to be both highly functional and delicious, we’re aiming to attract younger, health-focused millennials and Gen Z back to the dairy milk category.”

Hunt And Brew Extra Protein Milk 1L is now available in Coles stores nationwide, for RRP $3.95.
