The East London spirits brand, created by drinks maverick Gerry Calabrese, has launched in Australia, with Calabrese hosting events and briefings around the country on the label.

Through a new distribution partnership with In A Glass Group and a national listing with Endeavour Group’s Dan Murphy’s and BWS stores, Hoxton is bringing its flavour-first portfolio to Australian drinkers, bartenders and retailers.

At the heart of the launch is Hoxton London Spritz, the brand’s vibrant low ABV aperitif, now available nationwide across Australia.

Inspired by sunny piazzas and East London energy, London Spritz blends cherry, raspberry, orange and fennel with Hoxton’s signature gin base for a bittersweet, flavour-packed serve designed for the modern aperitivo occasion.

Calabrese said the launch here signalled a major new chapter in the brand’s global story.

“Australia is one of the most creative, dynamic bar scenes on the planet. It is a place that celebrates great drinks and bold ideas, exactly what Hoxton is about. Launching here, with London Spritz leading the charge, is a huge step for us as we take our East London spirit global,” Calabrese said.

Hoxton was born behind the bar, not in a boardroom. Founded by Calabrese, the brand has pioneered the flavour-led spirits movement by stripping away tradition and building from taste up, from coconut and grapefruit gin to banana rum and spiced whisky. Each expression is crafted to be distinctive, modern and unapologetically full of character.

To celebrate the Australian launch, Hoxton hosted two one-night-only events bringing together Calabrese and his father, Salvatore “The Maestro” Calabrese in a rare father and son collaboration.

Blending timeless Italian cocktail craft with modern East London creativity, the events showcased flavour, family and innovation at the heart of the brand.

Australia’s embrace of spritz culture, lighter serves and bold flavours makes it a natural home for Hoxton’s portfolio, which now includes:

Hoxton Tropical Gin (40% ABV): Coconut and grapefruit collide for a tropical twist on gin

Hoxton Dry Gin (40% ABV): Crisp, juniper forward, cut with sharp grapefruit zest

Hoxton Pink Gin (40% ABV): Naturally pink, lifted with rosehip and hibiscus

Hoxton Banana Rum (40% ABV): Ripe bananas meet Caribbean rum for full tropical flavour

Hoxton Spiced Whisky (40% ABV): Smooth Scotch layered with vanilla and warming spice

Hoxton London Spritz (20% ABV): A bright, bittersweet aperitif of gin, citrus and summer berries

In A Glass Group managing director, Pasquale Napoletano, said Hoxton’s creativity and flavour first approach fitted perfectly with Australia’s drinking culture.

“With London Spritz now nationally listed in Dan Murphy’s and BWS, and the rest of the range rolling out across on and off trade, we are excited to see Hoxton become part of Australia’s best bars and home serves,” Napoletano said.

The full Hoxton range is available now in Australia via In A Glass Group, with a wider rollout across the on and off trade to follow.

Consolidation at the top, restructuring in the middle, and bold innovation at the edges have reshaped the industry’s horizons. At the same time, regulators, brand owners and recyclers have inched closer to a new circular operating model, even as policy clarity remains elusive.

Pact has reported a decline in revenue and earnings for the first five months of FY26, citing subdued market demand, as chair Raphael Geminder pursues settlement of the long-running TIC earn-out dispute.
