Heinz has launched its new organic toddler snacking product, Heinz Organic Chickpea & Lentil Puffs, made for children 12+ months old, into the Australian market.

The snack comes in four flavours and holds a five-star Health Star Rating, and is made using a lentil and chickpea base.

Heinz CMO Rebecca Preston, said the range catered to both toddlers and parents.

“The range has puffed textures and appeal to toddlers’ adventurous natures with fun shapes and sizes, like stars and flowers along with no added sugar or salt or no artificial colours or flavours. They are a convenient lunchbox addition busy parents who are on the go,” said Preston.

Heinz Organic Chickpea & Lentil Puffs flavours include pumpkin and beetroot, tomato and carrot, and apple and vanilla and are available in Coles, IGA and Foodland stores for $1.90 per 12g pack.
