Haigh’s Chocolates, which just opened its new $120 million production, warehouse and online fulfilment facility in South Australia, is celebrating iconic Australian flavours this October with the release of the Best of Australia collection.

The collection features a range of new and exclusive chocolates presented in striking packaging representing the colours and textures of the country’s natural landscapes and coastlines.

Haigh’s Chocolates CEO, Peter Millard, said: “the creativity of our chocolatiers has truly captured the essence of Australia in this special collection, which proudly honours the country’s diverse and spectacular flavours.”

The following new chocolates feature in the Best of Australia range:

  • Dark Cabernet Sauvignon Ganache – A creamy white chocolate ganache centre infused with Cabernet Sauvignon from the Margaret River region in Western Australia, coated in premium dark chocolate
  • Milk Chardonnay Ganache – A smooth milk chocolate ganache centre infused with Chardonnay from the renowned Hunter Valley region in New South Wales, then enrobed in premium milk chocolate
  • Milk Leatherwood Honey & Walnut Nougat – Soft nougat with Tasmanian Leatherwood Honey & pieces of Australian walnuts, pan coated first in white chocolate then in milk chocolate
  • Dark Bush Spiced Almonds – Whole roasted South Australian almonds, pan coated in layers of premium dark chocolate infused with Australian Bush Spices
  • The Australian Collection Box – A selection of nine milk and dark chocolates, which have been paired with wines from Australia's most renowned regions, with the Hunter Valley Chardonnay Ganache, Margaret River Cabernet Sauvignon Ganache and McLaren Vale Shiraz Truffle.

The collection also includes the popular Australian Single Origin Milk Chocolate Tablet, a milk chocolate made from Australian cocoa beans grown in far North Queensland.

The Best of Australia collection will be available from 7 October at all Haigh’s Chocolates stores across Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and Canberra, and online at haighschocolates.com.au.
