PepsiCo has added three vegetable-heavy varieties to its Sunbites Grain Waves range.

Sunbites Grain Waves Plus options are made with Australian wholegrain corn, wheat and oats, with added vegetables: beetroot or sweet potato.

The three new flavours are Sunbites Grain Waves Plus Sweet Potato with Cream Cheese & Herb or Honey & Rosemary; and Sunbites Grain Waves Plus Beetroot with Sweet Chilli Jam.

Marketing manager Susan Press says the addition of vegetables to the wholegrain base creates a differentiated product in the snacks aisle.

"Made with no artificial colours or flavours, Grain Waves Plus is a wholegrain snack you can feel good about eating, and they taste delicious too,” she says.

The range is now sold in Woolworths, Coles and independent retailers, in 180g and 80g pack sizes.
