Better-for-you confectionery brand, Funday Natural Sweets, has launched a new collaboration with Mattel Inc. to bring the Barbie brand into the lolly aisle. Funday x Barbie Berry Kisses are a limited-edition product inspired by the bold and confident Barbie spirit.

Funday is fresh off of releasing a new chocolate range in February, featuring Milk Chocolate Raspberry Bullets, White Chocolate Raspberry Bullets, Milk Chocolate Banana Bites, and Dark Chocolate Strawberry Bites. Now, it's landed a collaboration with one of the biggest brands in the world.

Proudly made in Australia, Funday x Barbie Berry Kisses feature playful mixed berry gummies shaped as a kiss, with a natural pink colour derived from red radish.

The product is gluten free, uses natural colours and flavours, contains prebiotic fibre for gut health, and features no added sugar and no sugar alcohols.

Funday founder, Daniel Kitay, said the collaboration is beyond exciting.

“This collaboration feels like a moment in time – it’s joyful, playful and unapologetically bold,” said Kitay.

“It lets FUNDAY step into the world of Barbie and celebrate fun, while still staying true to what we stand for.”

Available in 50g bags and priced from $4.50, Funday Barbie Berry Kisses will launch online and at Chemist Warehouse in March, before rolling out to Woolworths, Ritchies and independent grocers nationwide in April.
