Patties Foods' Four’N Twenty pie brand has introduced its first non-pie product, a crispy breadcrumb parcel called a Topper with pasta-bake style fillings.

The three filling options for Toppers include Lasagne, Mac ‘N Cheese and Chicken Cordon Bleu, and these are packaged in a single serve 'heat and eat' wrap for eating on the go.

“Four’N Twenty is proud to launch this completely new product to Australia,” Patties Foods CEO, Paul Hitchcock, said.

“We have bridged the gap between a snack and a meal with delicious food on the move. We know Aussies will embrace the Four’N Twenty Topper just as much as they love and cherish all of our creations.”

The Topper range will be stocked in Woolworths nationwide, and IGA, Ritchies and Drakes from the middle of October.

They are 145g per serve, and RRP for $2.50 each.

Packaging News

ACOR is calling on the Government to urgently introduce packaging reforms or risk the collapse of Australia’s plastic recycling sector and face millions of tonnes of plastic waste polluting the environment.

As 2025 draws to a close, it is clear the packaging sector has undergone one of its most consequential years in over a decade. Consolidation at the top, restructuring in the middle, and bold innovation at the edges have reshaped the industry’s horizons. At the same time, regulators, brand owners and recyclers have inched closer to a new circular operating model, even as policy clarity remains elusive.
