Darrell Lea’s latest flavours dote on Australian memories, such as a visit to the local Cheesecake Shop for childhood birthdays, and even a trip to the Darrell Lea store. To help relive these memories, Darrell Lea and The Cheesecake Shop have teamed up for two new flavour creations.

Darrell Lea has delivered twists on two of The Cheesecake Shop’s signature cakes: the Black Forest Milk Chocolate Block and Caramel Cheesecake Milk Chocolate Block.

Continuing Darrell Lea’s signature style of blending new flavours, the Black Forest Milk Chocolate Block features a mix of Aussie-made Darrell Lea milk chocolate, cherry-flavoured jellies and cream-flavoured fudge pieces.

The Caramel Cheesecake Milk Chocolate Block is loaded with a mix of Darrell Lea milk chocolate, cinnamon biscuit pieces, salted caramel fudge pieces and cheesecake-flavoured fudge pieces.

Starting with one store in the inner-west Sydney suburb of Rozelle in 1991, The Cheesecake Shop has grown into a treat institution for local suburbs nationwide. The bakery now sells 4.5 million cakes yearly, with Black Forest Torte its number-one best seller.

Darrell Lea senior marketing manager Lili Despotovic said, “Lots of Australians have fond childhood memories of going to a Darrell Lea shop for sweet treats. While we no longer have the shops, we love that we can collaborate with The Cheesecake Shop on this uniquely Australian range of chocolate treats.”

The flavours are 100 per cent Aussie made, 100 per cent palm oil free tasting experiences for Aussies made with 100 per cent sustainably sourced cocoa and are available nationwide in Coles and Woolworths for RRP AU$5.50. The blocks are also available at The Cheesecake Shop locations, and the QR code on the back of the packaging to can be scanned to redeem $5.00 off a full-size cake from any local Cheesecake Shop.

Packaging News

At the same time, regulators, brand owners and recyclers have inched closer to a new circular operating model, even as policy clarity remains elusive.

Pact has reported a decline in revenue and earnings for the first five months of FY26, citing subdued market demand, as chair Raphael Geminder pursues settlement of the long-running TIC earn-out dispute.
