A corn-based Scotch whisky, Wee Smoky, has landed in Australian stores, a lighter and sweeter alternative option for consumers looking to dip their toes into the world of Scotch. The whisky is finished in premium-peated whisky casks for a little bit of smoky flavour.

Trends reveal that while people may be sipping a little less, they’re splurging on unique, premium spirits. Founded in 2020, Wee Smoky is leading the way toward a new era for whisky. Its versatile blend, with a smooth and fruity profile, has been designed with cocktails in mind, offering smoky twists on old classics.

Wee Smoky founder, Rory Gammell, said: ““Our whisky is for creators. While we have huge respect for the industry, we invite people to challenge the pre-conceived rules associated with Scotch whisky and drink Wee Smoky however they want, with whatever they want.”

The blend is now available in over 430 liquor stores across Australia. This expanding distribution marks a new chapter for the brand, bringing its bold, smoky profile to a wider audience and solidifying its presence in the Australian whisky scene

Wee Smoky is now available for RRP $79 at Liquorland, First Choice Liquor and Vintage Cellars.
