Brisbane-born healthy food company, Cheeky, is bringing its poke bowls to New South Wales and Canberra, landing a distribution deal with Harris Farm Markets that increases its retail presence by 29 outlets.

Backed by a loyal following in Brisbane via its physical poke stores, the first of which opened in Newstead in 2017, Cheeky has built a reputation on delivering high-quality, flavour-first meals in the places its customers already live and work.

To adapt to an ever-shifting wellness and health food landscape, Cheeky introduced its Grab & Go bowl range in 2024, securing placement with boutique local stockists, independent supermarkets, grocers and cafes, before stepping into this new national retail opportunity.

Now stocked in 22 New South Wales and three Queensland Harris Farm stores, in addition to its existing Coles Local distribution, this expansion marks Cheeky’s evolution into large-scale grocery retail.

Cheeky co-owner and founder, Sam Demetriou, said the company’s bricks-and-mortar stores were its heartbeat for a long time, showing what customers wanted from Cheeky in real time.

“Partnering with Harris Farm is about more than just ongoing growth for the brand, but it also brings validation on what we have always stood for,” said Demetriou.

“As we scale to meet strong demand, that showcases how much people are embracing and loving our bowls, and it’s because we are doing it without losing what made us special when we started this journey – fresh, bold flavours and convenience, all without compromising on quality or health.”

Pact has reported a decline in revenue and earnings for the first five months of FY26, citing subdued market demand, as chair Raphael Geminder pursues settlement of the long-running TIC earn-out dispute.
