Cape Byron Distillery’s Brookie's has launched the 2024 release of its Barrel Aged Mac. Liqueur, in an exclusive 300 bottle run.

The distillery is located in the Byron Bay hinterland, and draws inspiration from the coastal rainforest and Brook family’s macadamia farm surrounding the distillery.

Brookie’s Mac. Liqueur has been awarded the best macadamia nut liqueur at the World Drink Awards from 2020 - 2023, and this Aged edition has further developed in American oak, ex-bourbon casks for several months.

The result is a mature liqueur with layers of luxurious crème brûlée, decadent caramel, and the unmistakable essence of macadamia nut.

Cape Byron co-founder and distiller, Eddie Brook, said that the company’s journey with Mac. Liqueur has been one of continuous discovery and refinement.

"At Brookie's, we believe that good things take time. The extended ageing process of Barrel Aged Mac. has an incredible richness and sophistication that sets it apart, making it the perfect choice for connoisseurs seeking a truly exceptional drinking experience."

Cape Byron Distillery also released its new Mac. Liqueur Cask Whisky in April, which is aged in the same casks, to infuse the drink with a milk chocolate and buttery macadamia palate.

Brookie's Barrel Aged Mac. Liqueur 2024 release, with ABV 30 per cent, is now available at select retailers, premium bars and online www.capebyrondistillery.com for RRP $85.
