Calabria Family Wines has released its new Bélena Prosecco, created with freshly harvested fruit to maintain freshness and youthful characteristics.

Best served chilled, the prosecco has green apple and citrus aromas, with subtle notes of passionfruit and lemongrass.

Established by Francesco and Elisabetta Calabria in 1945, Calabria Family Wines is now one of Australia’s top 20 wine producers. It has cellar doors located in the Barossa Valley, South Australia and Riverina, New South Wales.

Calabria Bélena is a bespoke range, started in 2021, that pays homage to the second generation of the Calabria wine family; Bill & Lena Calabria.

Bélena Prosecco joins the existing portfolio of Bélena wines – Pinot Grigio, Moscato, Montepulciano, Rosé, Shiraz, Sangiovese, and Dolcetto Syrah.

Elizabeth Calabria-Staltare, youngest child of Bill and Lena Calabria, welcomed the addition.

“We are excited to be expanding the Bélena wine collection, entering into the thriving Prosecco category, with an easy drinking Prosecco that will attract those looking for a more affordable sparkling alternative,” she said.

The company also offers a complimentary personalised label for every two wines purchased from the Bélena range.

The Bélena Prosecco is available now in selected liquor stores and at calabriawines.com.au for RRP $20 for a 750ml bottle.
