Borg’s Pastry has rolled out a convenient new product for home bakers looking to get more flexible in the kitchen – Borg’s Single Large Rolled Pastry Sheet, available in both Puff and Shortcrust varieties.

The company stated the new Single Large Sheet Rolls build on decades of pastry craftsmanship, delivering the same trusted quality and taste consumers love. With an improved recipe for added crunch, the product provides consistent rise and flakiness, with no preservatives.

Pre-rolled and ready to bake, the large single roll format means less waste and more versatility, and uses less packaging.

Borg’s Pastry general sales manager, Stuart Redman, said the company knows many home bakers don’t always need a full pack of pastry.

“Sometimes it’s just one large sheet for a hero recipe or a special occasion,” said Redman.

“Our new Single Large Rolled Sheets are the ultimate pastry solution. Appealing to smaller households and new bakers, while also providing efficiency on the freezer shelf at stores.”

Borg’s Puff Pastry Single Large Rolled Sheet and Shortcrust Pastry Single Large Rolled Sheet are now available at Coles for RRP $2.50.

Packaging News

The World Packaging Organisation has named 234 winners for the WorldStar Packaging Awards 2026, which were selected from 481 entries submitted across 36 countries.

ACOR is calling on the Government to urgently introduce packaging reforms or risk the collapse of Australia’s plastic recycling sector and face millions of tonnes of plastic waste polluting the environment.

As 2025 draws to a close, it is clear the packaging sector has undergone one of its most consequential years in over a decade. Consolidation at the top, restructuring in the middle, and bold innovation at the edges have reshaped the industry’s horizons. At the same time, regulators, brand owners and recyclers have inched closer to a new circular operating model, even as policy clarity remains elusive.
