Forbidden Foods has added another flavour to its healthy breakfast rice range.

The Brekky Rice collection now includes black rice, honey and cinnamon pudding, sold in an individual microwavable pouch.

NASAA organic-certified, dairy free, gluten-free and using the brand's signature black rice, the product is now stocked in Woolworths.

Forbidden Foods co-founder Jarrod Milani said feedback had been positive so far.

“We released Brekky Rice through the independent channel and a lot of people loved it, so a national roll-out in Woolworths is an exciting step to get the product in more hands,” he said.

“Creating a new flavour was always on the cards; if you eat the same thing everyday it’s time for a change.”

The first Brekky Rice to launch was a black rice and coconut pudding, ready to eat in 45 seconds.

The new flavour has an RRP of $3.50 and is stocked in Woolworths' health food aisle.
