Brisbane-based Mandatory Spirit Co. has released a range of Australian made flavoured vodkas in compact one litre Bag-in-Box (BIB) packaging that reduces its carbon footprint by eight times compared to using glass bottles.
Mandatory Spirit Co. says the range appeals to consumer demand for convenient, ready-to-drink products.
The BIB packaging and portability is a feature making the product stand out, with Australian consumers increasingly looking for grab-and-go alcohol products to take to parties or gatherings with packaging that is easy to open, dispense, and store.
There are three flavours available to including Luscious Strawberry Vodka, Tantalising Raspberry Vodka and Cherry Bliss Vodka.
Mandatory Spirit Co. co-founder, Mark Collins said the range was a fun, attractive and compact answer for demand in the RTD category.
“We are excited to add another range to the portfolio with our flavoured vodkas. 100 per cent Australian made and all in a one litre box which continues to speak to our environmental efforts,” said Collins.
Mandatory Spirits Co. says a key consideration for the company is ensuring its packaging is sustainable in its commitment to environmental responsibility.
Packaging is also incredibly important for millennial consumers, with 85 per cent considering packaging material to be a key part of the product and purchasing experience.
“That’s why the flavoured vodka range is all encased in a one-litre cask, meaning Aussies can relish every exquisite sip, aware that their pleasure is harmoniously intertwined with the planet's wellbeing,” said Collins.
Mandatory Spirit Co flavoured vodkas are available from Dan Murphy’s stores nationwide for RRP $60.99.
