Beresford Wines has unveiled its latest release, marking the first chapter of its new multi-regional program. The 2024 Emblem Pinot Noir offers a vibrant, food-friendly take on one of the world’s most expressive varietals, with a focus on freshness, structure, and purity of fruit.

Sourced from handpicked fruit across Kuitpo and Aldgate Estate Block in the Adelaide Hills, the wine reflects the hallmarks of high-altitude Pinot: bright acidity, fine tannins, and lifted aromatics. Its medium ruby hue and red-fruit profile – layered with wild berries, herbs, and dried rose – is a direct result of Beresford’s site-specific approach and commitment to minimal intervention.

Beresford Estate winemaker, Chad Smith, said there was a particular clarity to the 2024 Emblem Pinot Noir.

“It’s light on its feet, but carries intense flavour and length. We wanted to create something that feels considered but unpretentious, you can pair it with food or pouring a glass on a Sunday afternoon,” said Smith.

“Pinot Noir is a true reflection of place, and the 2024 vintage has everything we love about the Adelaide Hills – the altitude, the perfume, the freshness and the finesse.”

The company stated the wine’s medium body and fine structure also make it an excellent choice for year-round drinking – chilled slightly in warmer months or decanted in winter for added depth.

The 2024 Beresford Emblem Pinot Noir is available now at beresfordestate.com.au, and select independent wine retailers for RRP $35.00.
